Indeed, the four tracks written by Scott Walker on side one \u003cbr\u003e\nare now widely regarded as some of his finest compositions, foreshadowing his re-emergence as an \u003cbr\u003e\navant-garde artist in the mid-80s and influencing the work of Japan, Radiohead, Pulp and others. The \u003cbr\u003e\nexperimental, string-laden single ‘The Electrician’ is particularly noteworthy; a remarkable piece that \u003cbr\u003e\nMidge Ure has claimed was the inspiration for the Ultravox smash ‘Vienna’.
