The rising popularity of New Jersey deathcore outfit Lorna Shore is utterly at odds with a band of their brutal calibre. Blowing up on TikTok after the release of their fourth album, 2022's Pain Remains, thanks in no small part to the addition of current enigmatic vocalist Will Ramos, their platform, streaming numbers and fanbase have expanded rapidly, leading to major anticipation for their fifth full-length I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me. Furthering the band's experimentation with elements of black and symphonic metal from tremolo-style picking to thematic, orchestral keys, the looming grandiosity they've become so naturally adept at conjuring is reliably underpinned by heaving breakdowns, Morse Code-style blastbeats and the most repugnant pig squeals and rasping snarls to ever leave a human throat. Deathcore was never envisioned to be this artistic, epic or popular.
