Decades later, "Five Days in July" continues to be one of the most acclaimed and finest albums in Canadian music history. With a wide range of music, many experimental tracks, and the distinct feel that it was indeed recorded in a farmhouse, all the pieces slide together in this excellent album. With the exception of a few upbeat feel-good numbers along the way, the album is a pretty mellow affair, reportedly inspired by Neil Young's timeless Harvest record.
